About this service:
Paint correction involves permanently removing microns of paint (a micron is equal to 1 millionth of a metre) via machine polishing to level the paintwork to remove surface defects such as scratches and swirl marks, bird mess etching, bug splatter etching, water spot etching and oxidation.
Defects such as scratches occur as a result of incorrect washing and general poor care, while bug splatter and bird mess etching occur as a result of a chemical process (and neglect).
Paint correction can get expensive but if the vehicle is washed and cared for correctly afterward, the quality of finish will remain almost indefinitely. Ceramic coating is highly recommended after correction to give maximum gloss and chemical and environmental protection.
Please note not all paint defects can be removed - there are always limits.
Please note this is an exterior service only. If you are interested in interior detailing please get in touch.
